Aion 2 is set to launch in Korea and Taiwan on November 19, 2025, aiming to revitalize the iconic MMORPG series with improved action combat, updated visuals via Unreal Engine 5, and a PC-first approach. At release, players can choose from eight distinct classes, each fulfilling familiar MMO roles.The lineup includes Gladiator (AOE two-handed combatant), Templar (classic tank), Assassin (stealth and burst), Ranger (ranged archer), Sorcerer (high-damage mage with crowd control), Spiritmaster (summoner using elementals for control), Cleric (dedicated healer), and Chanter (hybrid support, buffing and healing).
All classes feature refreshed abilities and skills to fit modern gameplay, and character customization boasts 200+ options. PvP and PvE content will be robust, including solo/party dungeons, massive world events, and classic features like rifting and Abyss-mode battles. For Western players, the global (including European) release is confirmed for the second half of 2026.
