Valheim’s latest Call to Arms update is now available on the Public Test Branch following its reveal at Gamescom. The patch enhances combat with overhauled mechanics including adrenaline-powered Trinkets - 13 unique accessories that activate temporary perks once your adrenaline bar fills by attacking or executing perfect blocks and dodge rolls.
New threats like Bears and the Vile bring fresh challenges, offering crafting materials for exclusive armor sets. Players can also test wooden weapons for sparring, try out practice tools like the Battle Brother training dummy and Archery Target, and explore a new location.
Added variety comes via a new skill, eight crafting materials, 18 new weapons, two armor sets, building pieces, hairstyles, beard styles, upgrades in item display options, and Unity engine improvements, all aimed at polishing gameplay and performance.
