GTA 6 Release Delayed: Bug Fixing and Final Optimization

Łukasz Grochal

GTA 6’s release date has officially been pushed back to November 19, 2026. Multiple credible insider reports, including Tom Henderson, confirm that the game's entire content is complete and playable from start to finish. The main reason for the delay is not a lack of content but the technical state of the game. Rockstar Games is now engaged in an extensive bug-fixing and polishing phase, focusing on eliminating glitches and optimizing performance.

Sources suggest Rockstar is determined to avoid repeating disastrous launches, like the troubled GTA 4 PC port or the infamous Cyberpunk 2077 debut. The scale of GTA 6 is tremendous and fan expectations are sky-high, prompting the studio to spend additional months ensuring every detail meets their standards. Some controversy surrounds Rockstar, including accusations of staff layoffs related to leaks and union issues, but the studio insists this final delay will allow the game to reach the quality fans expect.

The anticipation continues, fueled by the promise of a groundbreaking experience.
