Jump Space Launch: Sci-Fi Co-op Game Emerges

Łukasz Grochal

Jump Space (formerly Jump Ship) is a cooperative space-themed PvE game developed by Keepsake Games and launched in Early Access on September 19, 2025.

The game supports up to four players who act as a spaceship crew, with seamless transitions between spaceship operations, spacewalking, and on-foot planetary exploration and combat. Players scavenge parts to upgrade or repair the ship, and adapt tactics dynamically based on emergent events such as enemy attacks and environmental hazards.

On its release, Jump Space drew over 22,000 concurrent players on Steam and sold an estimated ~158,000 copies. It ranks among top sellers and top grossing on Steam, with strong user feedback: over 2,600 reviews, 90% positive.

Critics praise the fluid mixing of genres, replayability, and emergent design, though note Early Access imperfections and occasional bugs. Ongoing updates, roadmap transparency, and community feedback are integral to its development vision.
