Project TAL: Unreal Engine 5 Powers Korean Myth RPG Debut

Łukasz Grochal

Project TAL is an upcoming open-world action RPG from Korean studio Madngine, targeting PC and next-gen consoles with a planned release in 2027. Drawing inspiration from Korean mythology and traditional Tal masks, the game features cinematic visuals powered by Unreal Engine 5. Players can expect dynamic environments and a story-driven single-player experience, with a robust companion system and real-time combat.

Massive boss battles and unique climbing mechanics set the tone for what could be Korea’s answer to iconic titles like Black Myth: Wukong.
