StarRupture is a first-person, open-world base-building survival game by Creepy Jar, entering Early Access on January 6, 2026. The game places players on a hostile alien planet, Arcadia-7, where recurring cataclysms reshape the terrain. Players must gather resources, build and automate industrial systems, and expand bases, all while defending against waves of alien creatures. Gameplay supports solo or co-op (up to 4 players).
The antagonists include aggressive "Vermin" species: swarming melee types, acid-spitting ranged ones, and kamikaze attackers that explode near players. The environment adds further threats such as firestorms, extreme weather, and dynamic events, requiring players to balance construction, exploration, and defense strategies.
Creepy Jar intends to iterate the game through community feedback, expanding biomes, enemy variety, and narrative elements beyond the Early Access version.
