Dalsnibba is a well-known viewpoint located about 21 kilometers south of Geiranger, Norway. Standing at 1,476 meters above sea level, it is among the highest points in Europe accessible by car. The road leading up, Nibbevegen, is a toll road that ends at the Geiranger Skywalk, a secure platform offering expansive views over the Geiranger Fjord and surrounding mountains. On clear days, visitors can see the entire fjord landscape, including steep cliffs and distant peaks. The area forms part of the UNESCO-listed Geiranger Fjord region, recognized for its dramatic natural scenery.
Dalsnibba is open seasonally from around May to October, depending on snow conditions. It’s a popular stop for travelers driving through western Norway’s fjord routes, combining easy access with some of the most extensive panoramas in the region.
