Photoshop Beta Adds Gemini, FLUX & Firefly Models

Łukasz Grochal

Adobe has expanded the Photoshop (beta) app by adding support for multiple generative AI models within its Generative Fill feature, offering users greater creative flexibility. Now creators can pick among Adobe Firefly, Google’s Gemini 2.5 (Nano Banana), and Black Forest Labs’ FLUX.1 Kontext [Pro]. Each model brings different strengths; for instance, Gemini targets stylization and imaginative elements, FLUX.1 emphasizes contextual consistency.

These models integrate directly into Photoshop, enabling users to generate, refine, and iterate images seamlessly without leaving the familiar interface. This update aims to balance automation with professional control in creative workflows.
