Tides of Annihilation: Epic Arthurian Combat in Modern London

Łukasz Grochal

Tides of Annihilation is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Eclipse Glow Games, set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in 2026. The game puts players in the role of Gwendolyn, a survivor seeking the Holy Grail to save her sister and restore a London shattered by otherworldly forces. It delivers a mix of fast-paced, combo-driven combat inspired by Devil May Cry and Bayonetta, combined with exploration and cinematic boss battles.

Central to gameplay is the Dual Frontline Battle System, allowing players to summon and control ghostly Knights of the Round Table to shape their own fighting strategies. The game promises around 30 hours of gameplay and features over 30 unique boss fights. Arthurian myth blends with modern reality, and dynamic weapon options - swords, fists, bows - let you switch tactics mid-combo. The world shifts between realms, challenging players with mirrored environments and enemies born from chaos.

No fixed release date yet, but Tides of Annihilation stands out as a top-tier fantasy action RPG targeting both Western and Asian audiences.
