Intel Nova Lake Leak: Up to 52 Cores, 150W TDP to Rival AMD Zen 6

Łukasz Grochal

Intel’s next-gen Nova Lake processors, targeting a 2026 release, could feature up to 52 cores and a 150W TDP, according to leaks. The chips are positioned as a direct rival to AMD’s Zen 6 architecture, intensifying the battle for high-performance computing dominance.

Details suggest Nova Lake will leverage Intel’s advanced node (possibly 18A or beyond) and focus on efficiency gains alongside raw multi-core power. If accurate, this could help Intel regain ground in servers and workstations, where AMD’s EPYC and Threadripper CPUs currently lead.

With both giants pushing core counts and power efficiency, the 2026 CPU wars may redefine performance benchmarks. Stay tuned for official specs!
